A Key Contributor to Flourishing and Improved Well-being.
Much of my interests and work is guided by the science of positive psychology (and other fields) in creating positive environments that support flourishing and ultimately improved well-being.
Positive institutions has been a big part of positive psychology since the early articulation of positive psychology by Maslow and its more formalized conceptualization and packaging by Seligman. Research related to positive organizational scholarship (POS) and positive organizational behaviour (POB) has identified key concepts, theories and interventions related to developing positive organizations, and teams and individuals within those organizations.
Several of my initiatives are directly related to positive organizations and positive workplaces. Positive Psychology and its application to organizations/workplaces is one of the pillars of the various flourishing initiatives I am involved with (e.g. Flourishing Enterprises).
