An Integrated Approach for Innovative Product/Service & Solution Development
I have taken the best principles and techniques from design thinking (explore the right problem and solution the right way), lean (focus on and build the right product/service or solution) and agile (build the product/service or solution right) to innovate, design, and implement products/services and solutions.

This integrated approach takes the best and most useful elements of design thinking, lean and agile to reduce the risk and uncertainty and increase customer satisfaction and return on investment for product or solution development.

Applying a Positive Lens
Design Thinking, Lean and Agile have a lot to gain from a positive psychology lens applied to individuals, teams, and the enterprise when developing products/services and solutions. Since I also “dapple” in Positive Psychology (I am the past president of the Canadian Positive Psychology Association) I have integrated positive psychology principles, interventions and methods with design thinking, lean and agile principles and methods to improve initiative outcomes.

One Step Further – Enterprise Design and Transformation
Design Thinking, Lean and Agile can be effectively used in enterprise design and business/digital transformation with the additional integration of principles and methods from business architecture / enterprise design and positive workplace / positive lens. For this I created and use a new model shown below.

I have extended this model to illustrate higher-level linkages.

I’ll be updating this page on an ongoing basis, so check back often.
